Austin is a city in Texas that enjoys more than 2000 restaurants and places to eat. Out of these 2000, only several of them are worth our attention, and can be truly considered great wedding venues. Just like in any other American city, restaurants in Austin are divided into several categories, depending on the cuisine in which they are specialized; for example, we have Asian restaurants, American restaurants, European, Australian, African restaurants, restaurants specialized in seafood, in serving only desserts, restaurants opened only around 12 PM, restaurants for business people or for tourists and so on.
Incredibly or not, but the most popular restaurant and, at the same time wedding venue, in Austin, Texas is an Asian restaurant, named Uchiko. The surprise is even bigger, because this is no cheap restaurant, prices there ranging between $50. Uchiko is found at 4200 N Lamar Boulevard, accepts reservations made with OpenTable and is highly recommended for the sushi that is served there.

The next best restaurant in Austin is Jack Allen’s Kitchen, which is an American restaurant, located at 7720 Highway 71 West, a restaurant great for any type of party: graduation party, birthday dinner, wedding reception, you name it. A very good option of wedding menu at this restaurant includes country club chicken salad, fish tacos, chicken fried ribeyes, blue cheese and peanut butter pie.
And to make sure that we include another appreciated cuisine in Austin, we also mention Torchy’s Tacos, a Mexican restaurant, located at 1207 S 1st Street. This is perfect for an informal wedding, where you could take your friends and party all night long in an open air location surrounded by merengue dancers and mariachi. The perfect wedding menu here includes fried avocado and Baja shrimp taco.
