Brooklyn is the most populous neighborhood of New York, having approximately 2.5 million residents. Until it was annexed by New York, Brooklyn was an independent city, with its own particular ethnic groups and cultures.

Although not an exotic location, Brooklyn is preferred by many foreigners who believe they deserve a better life and that Brooklyn/New York is the best place to get such life, but also by native Americans, who consider New York as the best city in the world, and prefer to move to this city and start a new life as well. But not only foreigners or Americans who do not live in New York choose this city for the job opportunities that they can find there and for the ‘better life’ as they say; plenty of engaged couples, some living in Australia, and others in Tennessee, choose New York as the location where they want to get married. Do not imagine that Brooklyn is all about the Brooklyn Bridge, because this neighborhood of New York is famous for other things as well, such as the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, the Botanic Garden, Tabernacle, Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park, Park Slope, New York Transit Museum, Brighton Beach, Dyker Heights and many others.

And when it comes to potential wedding reception places where an engaged couple could celebrate their wedding, these are the best: the River Café (which is not exactly a café, but an American restaurant, serving dishes priced around $50), Five Leaves (a contemporary restaurant), Jacques Torres Chocolate (a bakery, great for its French desserts) and DeStefano’s Steak House (prices range around $50). It is quite difficult to say what restaurant is the best in Brooklyn, taking into account that there are more than 2000 restaurants available there. However, these 4 restaurant that we have named earlier were selected by actual New Yorkers and foreigners, who have visited them in 2011 and 2012, so by choosing one of the aforementioned restaurants for your wedding in Brooklyn, New York, most certainly you will not go wrong.
