A Perfect Celebration

Autumn is selected by many engaged couples as the season when they will celebrate their wedding, because this is the only season when most fruits and vegetables are harvested. Because of this reason, in this article we will recommend all those who plan to organize their wedding in fall to use the benefits provided by our nature.

1. Apples

Apples can be used as wedding decorations, but also to adorn the wedding cake. At the same time, the cocktail hour can be enhanced by the use of apples and of other seasonal fruits.

2. Pinecones

Pinecones are lovely to be seen in trees, but also on guest tables at a wedding. To be certain that children will not destroy them, it is wise to wire them to a tree present at the entrance of the wedding venue. And if the happy couple wants to have them on guest tables as well, they could use some artificial pinecones, that are not so sharp as actual pinecones, thus are safer for children.

3. Figs

Figs are also appropriate for a fall wedding, especially when they accent the table setting. The happy couple can place a single fresh fig on a lovely colored napkin, which in its turn, should be placed on a white plate.

4. Napkins

Speaking of napkins, they should be painted in earthly colors, such as brown, dark green and blue, and crafted with wooden tags labeled with guests’ names. This type of napkins celebrate nature and autumnal landscapes.

5. Cocoa

Few people know that in autumn, cocoa is harvested as well, not only grapes, apples, pears, cabbage, tomatoes and potatoes. Having this in mind, a happy couple can welcome their guests with mugs of hot cocoa rimmed with crushed graham crackers.
