Many say that the second time in marriage is better, because now you already have the experience of being married, and you will know what mistakes to avoid in the future. The first thing that comes to mind when we are talking about second weddings is the religious ceremonial; if you have decided to try the marriage thing one more time, you will have to discuss with a minister and establish a date where you and your partner will get married. Do not waste the opportunity of asking the minister if in his church, you, as a second-time bride, can wear a white gown or not; this depends very much on your religion, but also on the church where you decide to unite your destiny with your partner’s. Whether you are a divorcee, getting ready to marry the second big love (or probably the biggest one), or a widower taking a leap of faith, you need to know very clearly what type of outfit to choose, because your husband’s outfit depends on yours.

And the second thing is obviously connected to the reception party. Depending on the marrying couple’s religion and their age, some of the games, traditions and dances that are appropriate for a first-time wedding will be excluded in case of a second-time wedding. For example, during the reception, the bride (which is supposed to be a young girl/woman) receives blessings from her godmother, who also puts a bandana on the bride’s head, emphasizing the fact that now she is a married woman, not a single girl/woman anymore; well, in case of a second-time wedding, it is obvious that this tradition is not suitable.
