Make Your Own Wedding Invitations
Designing your own wedding invitations can be a cheap alternative to purchasing wedding invitations created by someone else. Plus, your potential wedding guests will appreciate more the fact that you have created those invitations yourself, and who knows, maybe this will be the exact factor that will influence their decision of coming to your wedding.
Wedding invitations can be made of paper, plastic, metal, ceramic, glass, can have various shapes, can use formal or informal words, can have an unusual design or, on the contrary, a very common one, and so on.
The first thing that you need to take into consideration, if you plan to make your own wedding invitations, is to think of how many people you plan to invite to your wedding. After this, select the material from which your invitations will be made; we recommend paper, but you can use any other material of your choice, and even make combinations of more materials.

Establish with your partner if your wedding will be a formal one or not. This has to be set from the beginning, because your wedding invitations will announce your guests that you plan a formal or informal wedding. Also related to the level of formality of your wedding, we need to mention the layout of your invitations, and also the words used in this case. Also, now is the time to choose a font for your invitations and a color.
Layouts, models of actual invitations, various types of fonts, and many others can be found on websites and in books that allow you to get inspired in relation to your future homemade invitations.
After choosing all this, buy enough paper to be able to print 50 or 100 invitations (or how many do you want), and start using your printer. To make your invitations more beautiful, instead of leaving the first cover of the invitations blank, you can press some natural flowers or draw something that will impress your guests. Some couples decide to attach a photo of them and their partner, while others prefer to type only ‘Wedding Invitation’ on the first cover of their invitations. It all depends on their preferences.
Regardless of the design or shape of the wedding invitation, this needs to respond to several questions, such as: ‘When is the wedding going to be held?’, ‘How can I get there?’, ‘Will the couple organize a rehearsal dinner as well?’, ‘Do they expect to purchase something for them or will they receive money?’, ‘What should I wear at the party?’, ‘Where will the wedding ceremony be officialized?’, ‘Where will I sleep, since I come from another city?’, ‘What are the dinner options?’, ‘Where exactly is that restaurant where the marrying couple plans to celebrate their wedding’ and finally ‘Who is getting married?’.
