Destination weddings
It may seem strange, but destination weddings are actually much cheaper than weddings that take place in the same city or town where the happy couple resides. This, because the number of guests that will appear to a wedding like this is very low, compared to the number of guests that could show up at a wedding organized in the same city or town where the marrying couple lives. Of course, if the happy couple is willing to pay everyone's ticket to that destination, and also their accommodation, the number of guests willing to participate at a destination wedding will significantly grow.

Usually, cocktail hours take place from 12 AM to 1 AM, time in which the bride and groom mingle among their guests, trying to socialize as much as they can with them. But what if the cocktail hour would be included in the wedding itself? Let's not forget that during a cocktail hour, all sorts of drinks and sweets are served, guests being treated as if they were present at an actual wedding. Why spend a lot of money on offering guests sweets and glasses of lemonade during the wedding too, when the wedding cake should be enough? So integrate the cocktail hour into the wedding itself, and forget about purchasing all sorts of goodies that will be offered at the end of the party, around 4 AM, before the wedding cake. Instead offer those goodies at the beginning of the wedding, at 12 AM. This way, guests will have the possibility of consuming fruits or cupcakes throughout the whole wedding, if they can save for later, that is. Usually, what is served during a cocktail hour is not served again during the wedding reception, but you can make an exception, if you plan to have a small budget wedding and allow your guests to consume those sweets and glasses of lemonade throughout the entire wedding, without offering them something else at the end of the party.
