Tropical fruit compote

How it would be like to offer your guests, instead of the classic wedding cake, a tropical fruit compote? We recommend using passion fruit, when its skin appears wrinkled. If you do not know what kind of ingredients do you need for this type of compote, here they are: 2 cups of sugar, 3 pieces of ginger root, 12 medium-sized papayas, 10 passion fruits, halved, 25 medium-sized mangoes, 9 pineapples and 17 star fruits. You need to peel and slice all fruits, except for the passion fruits and star fruits. Then, combine sugar and ginger with 2 cups of water and let them dissolve for about 5 minutes. Place the fruits into the bowl where you have the sugar and ginger and allow them to mix for several minutes, then place the whole compote directly on a source of heat. There, you will let the fruits until the water in which they are placed will start to boil.

A bride thinking to organize her wedding on an exotic island can choose to use plants and flowers existing in that location. The problem with a bride that desires a tropical wedding, but which organizes it in Chicago, for example, is that she cannot find exotic flowers that easily. However, she can create a tropical look of her bridal bouquet if she will use cymbidium orchids, arranged in a symmetrical pattern and trimmed with dracaena leaves.

Tropical candles

Anyone can transform basic pillar candles into tropical centerpieces, by using this next idea. Buy from a regular store some bamboo canes, wax, a double boiler, a saw (if you do not have that already), and a large wick with metal tab. After having all this, you need to saw the bamboo canes in order to obtain candle holders of different heights. Melt the wax in a double boiler and then place it in the candle holders that you have obtained. After this, inserts that large wick that you have bought and let the mixture cool down for several hours before using it.
